I’ve used Jonathan Kensall of Bluegrass Surveying on two occasions when acting for my daughters when overseeing their loft extensions. In both cases, Adjoining Owners (AOs) wished to execute Party Wall Agreements and were content to appoint Jonathan as the Agreed Surveyor rather than appoint their own Surveyor. This arrangement was preferable to us as the Building Owner because it avoided the AOs having to brief and appoint a separate Surveyor. The AOs were assured that Jonathan would be impartial when acting for both parties as the Agreed Surveyor. Jonathan performed his role very well on both occasions. I found him to be very experienced and knowledgeable and his fees were competitive. Consequently, I will be using Jonathan again next year when one of my daughters is planning further building work.
