Loft Conversion and Chimney Removal in Sutton - Agreed Surveyor
We served the Party Wall Notices on the adding neighbour who dissented and appointed Jonathan Kensall as Agreed Surveyor. Jonathan attended site to take a Schedule of Condition and then served a Party Wall Award on both neighbours to resolve the dispute.

Side and Rear Extension Near Ipswich, Suffolk - Agreed Surveyor
The Building Owners' extension foundations were more than three meters from the neighbours' house but the new extension would be up to the boundary or line of junction so a Section 1 Party Wall Notice was served. The neighbours dissented but appointed Jonathan as Agreed Surveyor. A schedule of Condition was taken and a Party Wall Award served which allowed the Building Owners to carry out their project.

Rear Extension in Ipswich
The neighbour planned a rear extension but the adjoining owners dissented and appointed Jonathan as their Party Wall Surveyor. The two appointed surveyors met, took a Schedule of Condition and then served a Party Wall Award which allowed the work to proceed.

Side Extension in Woodbridge, Suffolk - Building Owner's Surveyor
The Building Owner planned to demolish the side porch and build a new side extension. The neighbouring property is owned by a housing association who dissented and appointed their own surveyor. We worked together to draw up a Party Wall Award including a Schedule of Condition which allowed the work to go ahead. The Building Owner having the work done was responsible for both surveyors' fees.

Side Extension in Witham, Essex - Adjoining Owner's Surveyor
The Building Owners' planning a side extension served notice but received no reply which is an automatic dissent under the Party Wall Act. After 14 days they wrote to the adjoining owners and asked them to respond and give details of their surveyor. There was no response after ten days so the building Owners' appointed Jonathan to act as the neighbours' surveyor while they appointed their own surveyor. This mechanism in the Act allows owners to proceed with their project even when no response is received.

Rear Extension, Loft Conversion and Chimney Removal in Wimbledon
The neighbours on both sides required party Wall Notices. Both dissented and appointed Jonathan as Agreed Surveyor. Party Wall Awards were served and the work could then begin.
