Party Wall can be a pain but we try to make the whole experience as easy as possible. In this instance, putting steel beams into the party wall as part of a loft conversion always requires a party wall notice. When the adjoining owner dissented and you both appointed me as you agreed party wall surveyor I was able to take a schedule of condition of the neighbours property and serve the party wall award on you both allowing you to continue with the project.
